Scars: A few knife wounds and burns but nothing really noticeable. Tattoos: N/A Other distinctive features: None, Terry pretty much looks like an average 18 year old male. Personality: Terry is charming, outgoing, and friendly or he tries to be at least. Often times Terry can also rub people the wrong way with his honest attitude and often people rub him the wrong way with their bullshit.He is a very convincing actor/liar since he's managed to hide his double life rather successfully and can think of a good excuse pretty quickly. Can be a bit of a show off and a smart ass. Many have the misconception that Terry is undependable and undisciplined but that is the opposite of who he is. Thanks to his training as Gotham's latest crime fighter, Terry has become very disciplined. He just can't show that to his girlfriend or mother because of that whole secret life thing. Terry often sees everything as a grand adventure and enjoys taking risks. Live and learn is his philosophy. He is an honorable young man who sees his work as Batman as a chance for redemption for his earlier hoodlum years. Given his secretive nature, people often label him as flaky, cold and detached. Brief History: Amanda Waller, leader of the top secret Project Cadmus ( a group that was formed at the behest of the United States government to create a counterforce to the Justice League should they go rogue) copied Bruce Wayne's/Batman's DNA before Terry's conception. She knew Batman would never had children of his own so she decided to create a child using Warren and Mary McGinnis. Under the guise of giving Warren a vaccination, Amanda Waller used technology to manipulate Warren's DNA into Batman's genetic makeup. Shortly after she did this Terry McGinnis was conceived. Of course neither the McGinnis family nor Bruce Wayne were aware of this and Terry has grown up believing he and his bother Matt are Warren McGinnis' sons. He still believes that to this day. Growing up Terry was a hell-raiser and fell into a bad crowd at a young age, becoming a member of a street gang run by Charlie 'Big time' Bigelow. He had numerous run ins with the police and even served a short sentence in Juvie before going back to live with his father, who had since divorced Mary McGinnis. One night when Terry was out with his girlfriend Dana, the couple were harassed by a Jokerz gang. Terry fights them and leads them away from Dana when the Jokerz chase after him on their motorcycles. That fateful chase lead them to gates of Wayne Manor where an elderly Bruce Wayne comes to Terry's defense. After the fight Terry helps Bruce back to the mansion and on his way out inevitably discovers the entrance to the Batcave. Bruce discovers Terry in the batcave and kicks him but when Terry arrives home he finds his father has been murdered. At first it is believed that the Jokerz gang that chased Terry is responsible but the teenager soon discovers that Derek Powers, his father's employer and Bruce Wayne's business partner is responsible. Terry immediately goes to Wayne for help in taking down Powers but is disappointed when Wayne refuses to resume his role as batman and states that he will use his business to take Derek Powers down. Knowing that Bruce's plan won't work, Terry steals the batsuit to confront powers. Bruce quickly tracks him down and shuts down the suit until Terry manages to convince Bruce to let him use the suit to take down Powers. Once Terry battles Powers, Bruce decides that Gotham still needs a Batman and hires Terry as his personal assistant while also training the young man to take on his mantle. Terry has been Batman for the past year and a half. Strengths: Before training with Batman Terry possessed impressive street fight skills from his days as a hoodlum but since his training his skills have become more proficient. His fighting style is utilizes his natural agility and is very fluid, incorporating aerial movements. Terry is not above fighting dirty when he needs to however and will use whatever is in his environment to take out his opponents. He is intelligent and learning was greatly encouraged by both his believed father Warren McGinnis and Bruce Wayne. Thanks to Wayne's training, Terry has become quite the detective and has learned a wealth of medical knowledge to combat the chemical threats developed by Gotham's criminals. Since he maintains a double life Terry is pretty good at lying and acting which has often helped him get out of sticky situations in the past. Another strength of Terry's is his Batsuit. It is state-of-art body armor that conforms to the size and weight of the wearer and can withstand a tremendous amount of damage. It allows Terry a number of advantages in battle, most notably increased strength, the ability to fly short to medium distances, night vision, cloaking device and more. Weaknesses: Despite his strengths, Terry has a fair number of weaknesses. First and foremost would be his short fuse. While being Batman has forced Terry to learn to control his temper, he can still be set off easily and will act rashly because of it. Terry is also jaded and cynical so he's often very suspicious of others, which will often lead to him snooping around where he shouldn't. He's also reckless with his own safety and overly secretive which will make it hard for him to trust or be trusted by others. A smart-ass, Terry tends to speak his mind often and without thinking so he's sure to insult a few people. While Terry loves being batman and realizes the good that he is doing there are times when he longs to be a simple teenager again. Occasionally his wishes to be an active, social teenager conflict with his duties as Batman and Terry can sometimes ignore his duties because of it. Likes: Sports, fighting crime, the batmobile, junk food, music, clubs, sleep, being batman. Dislikes: Criminals, the jokerz, being lectured (he's use to it now), being betrayed. Talents/Hobbies: Terry is a talented fighter and is pretty good at wrestling.
